Sentinel

Sentinel is an early-warning system for workforce and population health. It combines reports from hospitals, worksites, laboratories and local government with real weather and air quality, spots emerging health risks early (heat illness, respiratory illness after dust, gastrointestinal outbreaks, dengue), explains them, and tells the right people what to do — without exposing individuals.

:::caution Demo data This prototype runs on synthetic health and workplace records generated on real Abu Dhabi weather and air quality (Open-Meteo, CC BY 4.0). No real personal data is used anywhere. Thresholds, actions and impact figures are prototypes that must be validated by occupational and public health experts. :::

The four systems

#SystemWho uses itWhat it does
1Sentinel APIFacility IT systems (hospital EHR, HR, clinic, lab)Receives de-identified reports, validates them, removes identifiers
2Facility portalFacility staff without an integration; facility and platform adminsSubmit reports by form or file, follow submissions, manage API keys and members, register facilities
3Warehouse and alertsRuns by itself; read by quarryAggregates and suppresses the data, detects anomalies, forecasts heat illness, raises and notifies alerts, validates itself
4quarrySite safety officers, occupational health, LGU / DOH officersAI analysis: ask questions, explain alerts, build reports and evidence packs
